I installed the skid plate and it fits like a glove, also was a wiz to install not fuss or drilling everything fit exact. The quality is superior and the service was great. I do not hear the motor to be louder than with the plastic plate. Would highly recommend this skid plate.

I have driven the Alaska Highway from Alaska to the "Lower 48," twice this winter. My 2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDI was protected from the frost heaves and boulders that were encountered on this rugged highway. Thank you for your product, it is an oil pan saver.

I purchased this skidplate in an earlier painted version, and every time I get under my car I see impacts and scrapes which would have likely hit my pan - hard enough to break? why take the chance. Objects hitting the pan make a rather loud "thwang" sound, much louder than hitting the factory plastic pan, but I'd rather have the noises than a puddle of oil under my car. two thumbs up.
